Lake Chelan National Recreation Area

The recreational spot that is located in the Chelan region and close to the famous lake of that location is the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. It is located at a distance of about 35 miles form the Canadian border and it comes under the recreation area of the United States. This recreation spot is situated in between Stehekin valley and the Lake of Chelan at its northern part, which encompasses nearly 62,000 acres of land.

The lake is close to the national park area in the park namely cascades nearby to the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. One can make their way to the spot by means of roadways or water boating, and through the airplane tours the entire sector inside the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area can be viewed.

Inside the area is a larger number of village people who make their residency inside. The access to the location can be made only by means of ferry boats and floatplanes. Even hiking trials can also be used to make way to the arena.
